Saw this a while ago and finally decided to post it, I’ve never heard of it before, let alone see one. Is it perhaps JDMtyte?

Just a tremendously poor selling “luxury” sedan that Mitsubishi failed to market very well, they cost north of $30k new iirc. They were sold in North America.

Just saw on Wikipedia they only sold them in Canada in 2004, very rare, JDM as fuck.

Nothing special. Mitsubishi imported them from ‘92 to ‘04. Some featured things like 4-wheel steering, traction control, and active suspension. Otherwise a typical V6 FWD automatic sedan.

My wife drives a 2003 Its a great car for road trips and taking the kiddos around town. Granted its 6G74 V6 is horrid to work on.

I do recall seeing one of these around... can’t remember where. Definitely rare, for lack of a better term.
More importantly, can we discuss your dash? It looks just like mine. BMW had the good sense to make the dash pad black (because low glare) even with a tan-everything-else interior... but then they put that goddamn tan strip right at the front? WTF. Because I almost always have polarized glasses on while driving, I don’t notice as much, but really. Why?

I remember seeing a fair number of Diamantes on the raod back in the late ‘90s/early ‘00s. A former colleague had one. Not a bad car. They always struck me as an “attempt” at making a BMW-y car.

They made them ugly for the last year, but I liked driving them around when I worked for Mits. Had the same type electroluminescent gauges that Lexus had, comfy seats, frameless windows, nice Buick-y ride....
